Experience Afternoon Tea at The Ritz. You can enjoy an extensive selection of 20 different types of loose-leaf tea, finely cut sandwiches featuring classic fillings, freshly baked plain scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, and a delectable selection of afternoon tea cakes and pastries.
A service charge of 12.5% is included.
As the perfect ending to your Afternoon Tea experience, you can savour our signature Ritz table-side service, which includes two generous slices of cake from the guéridon cake trolley.
There are five sittings for Afternoon Tea every day (11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm and 7.30pm). Booking at least four months in advance is essential, especially for weekend bookings due to popularity.
During certain times of the year, The Ritz produces special Afternoon Teas.
We accept experience vouchers on the following days, but with a supplement payable: St Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, and Christmas Afternoon Tea, usually from the second week of November to the beginning of January. This list of events is not definitive.
The dress code of The Ritz reflects the ambience and style of the different areas of the hotel. In The Ritz Restaurant and for Afternoon Tea, gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie; jeans are not permitted. For the bar, smart attire is a must. Please note shorts, sportswear and trainers are not permitted at any time.
